Susan is a Partner and Global P&C Insurance Leader and Islands Leader for Oliver Wyman Actuarial Consulting, Inc. She is a highly experienced senior leader in the insurance industry and brings to her role at Oliver Wyman the depth and breadth of her nearly 40 years’ experience building businesses, driving growth, and ensuring operational excellence in Bermuda and beyond. For more than 20 years of her distinguished career, Susan has held executive-level roles, including Global Chief Actuary, Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Executive Officer, and has co-founded companies, helped launch start-ups, and steered organizations through mergers and acquisitions. 

Susan has a long and successful history working in the Bermuda market, having more than a decade’s worth of experience in senior positions with insurance, reinsurance, and consulting firms on-island. These senior roles were complemented by several years of service earlier in her career as a Location Manager for locally based teams. 

Susan is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
