As Head of Government Affairs, Bridget is responsible for the regulatory and legislative advocacy, trade association oversight, and political engagement for the enterprise. Bridget has more than 10 years of experience working in government affairs in the insurance industry, and prior to joining Talcott, she worked in government affairs for The Hartford where she managed the company’s political action committee and she also worked for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in the Executive Office of Elder Affairs. She is on the Board of Directors for three insurance trade associations, the Insurance Association of Connecticut, the Association of California Life and Health Insurance Companies, and the Cayman International Reinsurance Companies Association. Dunn was also recognized as one of the Hartford Business Journal’s 40 Under Forty for 2025. Bridget holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science from Emmanuel College and two master’s degrees from Suffolk University in Public Administration and Political Science.
