Rudy is the Global Head of Insurance Services at the Apex Group and the
Managing Director of Apex Insurance Services (Cayman) Ltd. and has over 20
years of experience servicing a wide spectrum of financial services clients
including investment funds, banks and insurance entities.

He previously spent 12 years with KPMG (Bermuda) and EY (India and the Cayman Islands)
providing assurance and advisory services to their financial services clients.

He worked with Nomura where he served as Vice President for 4 years leading the financial
control and regulatory reporting functions for UK entities of the investment bank. At Nomura
he managed the EMEA regulatory reporting function managing the transition to CRDIV norms/
Basel III norms. In his previous role with Nomura, he managed the financial reporting for the
EMEA banking entity as well as the unregulated entities.

He also worked with Nassau Re (Cayman) Ltd. as its Treasurer and Head of Accounting for
over 3 years overseeing all financial accounting/reporting, tax reporting and treasury
operations of offshore entities of Nassau group.

He is also passionate about teaching/coaching conducting sessions on various accounting
concepts, regulatory reporting concepts, financial planning and life skills.

Rudy holds a Master of Commerce (M.Com) degree in Accounting and Finance from
Sydenham College of the Mumbai University.

He is an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) and is a member of the Institute of Chartered
Accountants of India.

He is an Accredited Director (Acc. Dir) and member of the Chartered Governance
Institute of Canada.

He has also completed the following certification and qualifications:

Certified Financial Services Auditor (CFSA) issued by the Institute of Internal Auditors

Financial Risk Manager (FRM) issued by Global Association of Risk Professionals
