R. Cameron Leitch joined Hildene Re, SPC Ltd as CEO and Director in July 2024. Mr. Leitch has more than 15 years of insurance and reinsurance related actuarial experience as well as 9 years of experience managing Cayman Islands domiciled reinsurance companies.  Prior to joining the Hildene, he was the CEO and Director of a Cayman Islands Class D reinsurer affiliated with a top 10 life and annuity writer in the US.  Mr. Leitch also held various actuarial roles and/or was appointed Director on the Boards of several other Cayman Islands and Texas domiciled operating affiliates.  Mr. Leitch holds ASA, CERA and MAAA actuarial designations and a Bachelor of Business Administration, specializing in Risk Management from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.  Cameron resides in the Cayman Islands with his spouse and his 6 year old son.
