Prannoy Chaudhury is a principal and consulting actuary with the New York office of Milliman. He joined the firm in 2011, and co-manages the New York life consulting practice.  Prannoy has extensive experience in life/annuity/health insurance-related transactions, both in the U.S. and internationally, serving as a strategic ally in companies’ consideration of a purchase or a sale transaction. Prannoy has advised insurance companies and private equity firms on insurance mergers and acquisitions (focusing on actuarial assumptions, review of new business platforms, expense analysis) and reinsurance (onshore captives, offshore reinsurance analysis, and various reinsurance deal structuring considerations). He has helped both investors and insurers invest in and create sidecar reinsurance vehicles.  Prannoy is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and a graduate of the University of Waterloo (Canada).
