Patrick Reeder is a trial lawyer, business leader and national lobbyist with more than 35 years of experience in government affairs, litigation, regulatory compliance and strategic business transactions – with a focus in highly regulated industries. Over his career, Patrick has used his deep and diverse business experience and personal advocacy skills to help clients resolve complex business and regulatory problems.  He currently serves as the Chief Government Affairs Officer at Everlake Life. 

Over his career, Patrick has worked for several financial services companies and brokerage general agencies.  He has also owned and operated a private legal practice.  Patrick serves his community by providing pro-bono legal services to children and families in need. 

Patrick received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism from Penn State University and he earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Widener University’s Delaware Law School. 

Patrick lives in Richmond, Virginia.  He has two children and two grandsons.  Patrick served as the music director of a youth-based community theater and is an accomplished worship leader and musician.
